Hello everyone and thanks for taking a look at my blog. My name is Pete Kerwin and I am a 1st year graduate student at Mount St. Mary’s University. Currently, I am earning my Masters of Education in Technology Facilitation. I am also an Assistant Coach for the Mount’s lacrosse team and working as a Student Athletic Academic Advisor for the school. All three are keeping me pretty busy, but I am enjoying myself so far.
I am from Ellicott City, Maryland and have two older brothers; Matt, 26 and John, 24. Matt is a Middle School Social Studies teacher and John works at a non-profitable Tuberculosis Vaccine company (aka a science nerd). Once I am done with school in May of 2009 (hopefully) I plan on becoming a High School Social Studies teacher in either Howard, Frederick, Montgomery, or Carroll County. I would also like to coach lacrosse at whatever school I end up teaching at. Teaching and coaching have always been two things I enjoy and have a passion for.
I hope you enjoy looking at my blog and even get something out of it. I have included some helpful tools as well as some sites to create a fun learning environment for students of all ages.
